Curation Health was founded by a team of healthcare veterans who realized providers and health plans desperately needed a solution to help them improve performance in risk-based contracts. They are backed by WindRose Health Investors. Curation Health was founded with this mission in mind:
To empower healthcare provider organizations and health plans to successfully navigate and scale from fee-for-service to value-based care, while supporting clinicians and improving overall patient care.
We take pride in working with the flexibility and speed of a startup grounded in decades of healthcare experience from leading institutions.
Kevin launched Curation Health after observing the challenges associated with healthcare provider organizations migrating from traditional reimbursement models to clinical quality programs — as well as the issues health plans were encountering as they looked to partner with providers in the shift to value-based care reimbursement structures.
Prior to Curation Health, Kevin was a founding Partner and President of Clinovations, a clinically oriented healthcare management consulting firm dedicated to healthcare technology optimization. Clinovations was acquired by the Advisory Board Company in 2014. Before Clinovations, Kevin served as the healthcare CIO for a Fortune 20 organization, retail medicine executive, management consultant, and health system administrator.
